This alteration to a family home to modernise and refresh the tired interior was a joy to build.

Outfitting new joinery to the laundry including a modern glass splashback, anti-slip tile floor, and stone square edged benchtop turned the room into a highly functional and pleasing space.

By replacing the kitchen cupboard doors and panels with polyurethane painted laminated, it gave the kitchen a refreshed look without having to change the layout. New plush carpet in the bedrooms. Sanding plus polishing the existing pine floorboard throughout the house revitalised the flooring.

The old asbestos bathroom and ensuit were removed. The areas were then replastered and waterproofed as per the Australian standards. With Square set ceilings, Skylights, wall hung vanities, rimless back to wall toilets, and shower wall niches made them a modern delight.

The wall between the dining and living area was removed opening up the space. Double glazed meranti timber windows and sliding doors were added making the area thermal efficient while bringing more natural light inside. And showcasing the beauty of the bushland gardens surrounding the house.

This family home is now ready to be a cosy retreat for the family to revitalise and relax in.
